With the wide application of permanent magnet materials and numerical control technology in the air compressor industry, servo motors are becoming more and more important. Servo motor refers to the engine that controls the operation of mechanical components in the servo system, and is an auxiliary motor indirect speed change device. However, how much do you know about some basic maintenance knowledge of servo motors? The following editor briefly introduces some knowledge about the use and maintenance of servo motors.
1. What are the preparations to be done before starting the servo motor?
① Measure the insulation resistance. Note: The low-voltage motor should not be lower than 0.5M.
② Measure the voltage of the power supply, check whether the motor is correctly wired, and the voltage of the power supply meets the requirements.
③ Check whether the starting equipment is good.
④ Check whether the fuse is suitable.
⑤ Check whether the ground wire and neutral wire of the motor are good.
⑥ Check whether the transmission device is defective.
⑦ Check whether the working environment of the motor is suitable, and remove inflammable and explosive dangerous goods or other sundries.
2. What are the causes of overheating of servo motor bearings?
The reason of the motor itself:
① The inner and outer rings of the bearing are too tightly matched.
② There is a problem with the shape and position tolerance of the parts, such as the poor coaxiality of the shaft, end cover, and base.
③ The bearing is not suitable for the motor.
④ The bearing is poorly lubricated or not cleaned, and the grease contains debris.
⑤ Influence of shaft current.
Reason for use:
① There is a problem with the installation of the unit, such as the shaft coaxiality of the motor shaft and the driven device is not up to the standard.
② Pull the pulley too tightly.
③ Improper maintenance of the bearing, insufficient lubricating grease or not regularly replaced, deteriorated and dried up.
3. What are the reasons for the unbalanced three-phase current of the servo motor?
① The three-phase voltage is unbalanced.
② Poor welding or poor contact of a phase branch circuit inside the motor.
③ Short circuit between windings of the motor or short circuit to ground.
④ An error occurred in the wiring.
4. How to adjust the speed of the servo motor?
The servo motor is a typical closed-loop feedback system. Its reduction gear set is driven by the motor, and its output end drives a linear proportional potentiometer for position detection. The potentiometer converts the corner coordinates into a proportional voltage and feeds it back to the control circuit board. The control circuit board compares it with the input control pulse signal and generates a correction pulse, which drives the motor to rotate in the forward or reverse direction to make the gear set output position consistent with the expected value, and gradually make the correction pulse tend to 0, so as to achieve The purpose of the servo motor for precise positioning and constant speed.
