Five troubleshooting methods for high-pressure pumps

1. The water pump does not absorb or drain water. This kind of failure is mostly caused by the stuck bottom valve, the blockage of the water filter, the high water suction height or the air leakage of the suction pipe. Inspections should be carried out one by one, and treatments such as repairing the bottom valve, removing silt, and correcting the steering should be taken respectively.

2. The pipeline is leaking or leaking. Mostly because the nut is not tightened. If the leakage is not serious, you can apply grout, wet mud or soft soap to the leakage; if there is water leakage at the joint, you can tighten the nut with a wrench. In case of serious water or air leakage, it must be disassembled and assembled again.

3. The water pump vibrates violently. It may be an unbalanced electric rotor or a poor coupling of the coupling. Sometimes the bearings are worn or bent, the rotating parts are loose or broken, and the pipeline support is not strong, which can also cause vibration. Should be adjusted, reinforced, inspected or replaced separately.

4. The impeller is broken. When the damage is not significant, it can be repaired. When the damage is serious, it should be replaced or plated with cemented carbide. If it is completely damaged, remove the impeller and send it to the repair shop for repair.

5. The pump shaft is bent. It is mostly caused by impact load, over-tightening of the belt, improper installation, etc. If the bend is not serious, it can be corrected with a manual screwdriver, but the force should not be too strong to prevent it from breaking completely.
