1. Power on and run to normal temperature for one hour.
2. Shut down.
3. Drain the oil from the tank, cooler and all filters.
4. Add the newly changed oil to the minimum oil required for operation.
5. Turn on and run to normal operating temperature for one hour. During the hour, open and close the vent valve every 15 minutes to cycle the machine at the highest pressure and lowest pressure valve settings. You can see an increase in foam on the bull's eye viewing window, and you will also see the viewing window go from milky to clear at the beginning.
6. Shut down.
7. Drain the oil from the tank, cooler and all filters.
8. Add the new replacement oil to 1/2 volume.
9. Repeat step 5.
10. Shut down.
11. Drain the oil from the entire machine, including the cooler, oil tank and filter. Remove pipes if necessary to remove low oil. Clean screen; replace separator and all non-permanent oil filters. Check that the inlet filter is covered with contaminated oil.
12. Add the recommended oil change to the minimum amount required for operation.
13. Turn on and run to normal temperature for 15 minutes.
14. Shut down and drain oil from machine. Open the filter and filter, but do not replace.
15. Add the oil you recommend to the machine to the normal oil level.
16. Restart the machine and note the oil level. There will be about 1/2 oil in the sight glass when the machine is operating.
17. The foam will disperse to the oil level and no oil will flow out of the drain valve within 2 minutes after shutdown.
