We all specify that after the machine is cleaned, maintained and installed, the operating parameters of the screw air compressor should be adjusted to ensure the normal operation of the screw air compressor. The following editor will briefly talk about how to calibrate the parameters after the screw air compressor is maintained.
(1) Preparation before starting the screw air compressor: Belt (coupling) calibration: If the air compressor is driven by a belt, the tightness of the belt should be between 10 and 20 mm. If the air compressor is driven by a coupling, after installation, the motor and the main unit should be manually rotated and the balance of the coupling should be checked. The coupling of the screw air compressor basically uses an elastic coupling, which can be ignored if the balance deviation is not large. Screw air compressor main unit steering correction: If the main power supply is removed during maintenance, pay attention to the forward and reverse rotation of the motor after the power supply is reconnected. The motor steering should be based on the main unit steering. For the correct steering of the main unit, please check the steering icon marked on the main unit. Correction method: Swap any two power lines in the three-phase power supply.
(2) Loading, unloading, and proportional value correction: When setting these three parameters, the unloading value should be determined first. The unloading value should be determined based on the rated pressure of the air compressor and the pressure required by the gas end. After determining the unloading value, set the loading value. The pressure difference between the two should be between 0.1 and 0.2 MPa. After setting the unloading and loading values, set the proportional value. The proportional value should be set between the unloading value and the loading value. For example, for a screw air compressor, if a factory requires an air compressor supply pressure of 0.8 MPa and the air supply requirement is relatively stable, the three parameters should be set as follows: unloading pressure is set to 0.8 MPa, loading pressure is set to 0.65 MPa, and proportional control pressure is set to between 0.73 and 0.75 MPa. Screw air compressor correction method: Set the parameter in the microcomputer (if the air compressor is controlled by buttons, the loading and unloading parameters should be adjusted from the pressure switch, and the proportional value should be adjusted at the adjusting nut of the proportional valve on the unloading valve).
(3) Correction of internal pressure of the unit: The internal pressure of the unit should be between 0.2 and 0.45 MPa. Correction method: The pressure value should be measured when the unit is unloaded. The value is adjusted on the adjusting nut of the minimum pressure valve. In order to facilitate reading of the adjusted value, a pressure detection point should be taken before the minimum pressure valve and a pressure gauge should be installed (some microcomputers have an internal pressure parameter display function. If there is no such function, a pressure gauge should be installed before the minimum pressure valve).
(4) Correction of high temperature protection value: When the screw air compressor is working normally, its temperature should be between 65 and 98 °C. The automatic shutdown temperature of the over-temperature protection shall not exceed 105 °C. Correction method: Adjust the high temperature automatic shutdown temperature value in the panel, preferably 1.2 (i.e., a 20% margin).
