How to install a screw air compressor

Most customers who buy screw air compressors often don't pay much attention to the installation of screw air compressors. However, screw air compressors are very important during use. But once there is a small problem with the screw air compressor, it will affect the production of the entire factory. Therefore, enterprises will face a problem after purchasing screw air compressors-installation. Let's talk about how to install screw air compressors.

The installation process of screw air compressors is roughly divided into the following steps:

1. When piping the main pipeline, the pipeline must have a slope of 1°~2° to facilitate the discharge of condensed water in the pipeline. Secondly, the pipeline pressure drop must not exceed the set pressure.

2. The branch pipeline is connected from the top of the main pipeline to prevent the condensed water in the main pipeline from flowing into the working machine. The air outlet pipeline of the air compressor should have a one-way valve.

3. When the air compressor is installed in series, a ball valve or automatic drain valve should be installed at the end of the main pipeline to facilitate condensation discharge.

4. The main pipeline cannot be reduced arbitrarily. If the screw air compressor pipeline is reduced or enlarged, a tapered pipe must be used, otherwise there will be mixed flow at the joint, resulting in large pressure loss and affecting the service life of the pipeline.

5. It is recommended to use the following supporting equipment: air compressor + separator + air storage tank + front filter + dryer + rear filter + fine filter.

6. Try to reduce the use of elbows and various valves in the pipeline to reduce pressure loss.

7. It is recommended that the main pipeline surround the entire plant, and configure appropriate valves on the ring trunk line for maintenance and cutting.

The above is my personal opinion on how to install a screw air compressor. I hope it will be helpful to you when choosing a screw air compressor.
