Installation specifications for screw air compressors used in mask machines

The installation of the screw air compressor for mask machine is also an important task. The installation will not only affect the normal operation of the equipment, but also seriously affect the service life of the equipment. Although the installation standards of each manufacturer are slightly different, the general steps are similar.

Site selection of air compressor room

1. The air compressor room should be selected in a cool, clean and well-ventilated place as much as possible, with an ambient temperature between 0-40℃.

2. Try not to install the equipment directly outdoors to avoid rain, sun exposure and excessive dust entering the unit.

3. Do not install it in a small space without ventilation to avoid bad conditions such as high exhaust temperature of the unit.

4. It is forbidden to install it in places with a lot of dust in the environment to avoid excessive wear of the unit.

5. The screw air compressor for mask machine should not be installed in places where the air contains flammable gases, corrosive gases and more water vapor to avoid possible problems.

Layout of the machine room and placement of the air compressor

1. An air tank should be installed behind the air compressor. The volume of the air tank should be more than 20% of the exhaust volume of the equipment per minute. Secondly, arrange personnel to drain the water regularly.

2. The air compressor air tank should be installed before the dryer so that the compressed air discharged by the air compressor can be properly buffered and cooled before entering the dryer. The dryer needs to have a bypass valve for future maintenance.

3. The air compressor should be placed directly on a flat, horizontal cement floor that can bear the weight of the air compressor.

4. There is no specific requirement. The air compressor does not need to be raised or installed with shock pads.

5. The air compressor should be kept at a distance of more than 1.5m from the surrounding walls or other equipment to facilitate the inspection and maintenance of the air compressor.
