What are the requirements for air compressors used by textile enterprises?

The products produced by textile enterprises are in direct contact with people, so high-quality aerodynamics is required. Oil-free air compressors are widely used in food, medicine, rail transportation, electromechanical, textile and other industries. Among them, in textile enterprises, air jet looms used to weave cloth require dry oil-free compressed air. During the production and operation of the air jet loom, the fine nozzle blows compressed air onto the wire bundle to form a vortex, giving the yarn shape, elasticity and elasticity.

The following is an introduction to the requirements of air compressor quality for air jet looms:

1. Moisture

The water content of compressed air for weft insertion of air jet looms should not be too high, otherwise the moisture will precipitate and condense into water droplets in the compressed air pipeline, causing dust to stick to the pipe wall, increasing the pressure loss along the pipeline, and generating water droplets at the nozzle, affecting the jet quality, causing corrosion of the reed and nozzle loom parts. Therefore, the pressure dew point of the air compressor should be set below 4°C.

2. Oil content

Oil particles in the compressed air will contaminate the fabric, produce defects, and stick to the nozzle outlet, affecting the nozzle jet force and jet flow trajectory, reducing the weft insertion effect and worsening the weft insertion. Oil particles adhering to the reed will increase defects, and the diffusion of oil particles in the air of the production workshop will pollute the environment and endanger the health of workers. Therefore, oil particles with a diameter greater than 0. microns should be filtered out, and the maximum oil content should not exceed 0.1 mg/m.

3. Dust and carbon powder

Due to the small meshing gap of the air compressor, the dust and carbon powder contained in the air will accelerate the wear of the compressor. Impurities, dust and carbon powder above 1μm should be removed, and the maximum dust concentration in the air should not exceed 1 mg/m. Among the three main influencing factors, the oil content in the air is related to the selection of air compressor models and operating costs.
