When purchasing screw air compressors on a daily basis, many customers do not understand the requirements for screw air compressor installation. The following editor will briefly talk about the installation of screw air compressor room equipment, which directly affects the performance and operation stability of the equipment. Therefore, it is particularly important to master the installation points of screw air compressor electromechanical equipment.
Selection of installation site
Many times, staff will ignore the selection of screw air compressors, resulting in unstable working performance of screw air compressors. Attention should be paid to the selection of installation location and specific planning should be made. Possible problems should be curbed in the bud to ensure the effective and stable operation of screw air compressors.
The installation site of the screw air compressor should be selected in a place with a wide site and good lighting, which can facilitate the installation of the machine body and the implementation of future maintenance and overhaul work. The installation of the screw air compressor needs to be selected in a relatively dry place with good air circulation and less dust, which can extend the service life of the equipment. If the factory environment is poor and there is a lot of dust, appropriate pre-filter equipment should be installed to protect it. The ambient temperature should not be too high. Generally, it should be installed in a place below 40 degrees Celsius. Excessive temperature will increase the air delivery volume when the equipment is in operation, thereby reducing the efficiency of the equipment to a certain extent.
At the same time, a passage should be reserved before installation. If conditions permit, an overhead crane can be installed to provide greater convenience for future maintenance work. Generally speaking, at least 70 cm of distance should be left between the compressor and the wall as reserved maintenance space. The distance between the air compressor and the top space should not be less than one meter.
In addition, a position for installing air-cooled units and water-cooled units should be reserved, and the cooling hot air should be discharged to the outside by installing air ducts. Valves should be installed at the inlet and outlet of the water-cooled unit. If there are debris in the cooling water, the filter equipment needs to be installed in advance.
Installation of piping system, fixed foundation and cooling system
Piping system. When installing the main pipeline piping, the pipeline should have a slight inclination angle to facilitate the technical outflow of the condensed liquid in the pipeline. Use large-diameter piping as much as possible to alleviate pipeline resistance and improve its working efficiency. The branch line should be connected from the top of the main line to prevent the condensed liquid in the main line from flowing back into the machine and causing operational failure. When installing, it is necessary to pay attention to maintaining the established size of the main line, and do not change the order arbitrarily to avoid mixed flow at the joint, loss of pressure and affecting the service life of the equipment. Appropriate installation of buffer purification equipment such as dryers can reduce the load of machine operation.
Generally speaking, the pressure of the system needs to be controlled below 1.5 millipascals. If the instantaneous gas consumption of the system is relatively large, it can be alleviated by choosing to install a gas storage tank with a large exhaust volume. In addition, during the installation of the pipeline, the use of elbows or various valves should be reduced as much as possible. Such parts are prone to cause equipment pressure loss, which will reduce the working efficiency of the equipment to a certain extent.
Fixed foundation. The foundation system needs to choose a relatively hard floor to build and install. Before installation, the staff needs to calibrate the reference plane to prevent excessive noise due to vibration after the equipment is started. If the air compressor is installed at a non-bottom floor, the staff must do a good job of shockproofing the equipment to prevent noise and other hidden dangers caused by vibration. Generally speaking, the vibration amplitude of the screw air compressor is not large during operation, so it is not necessary to add a fixed foundation. But the premise is that the site where the air compressor is installed must be flat. At the same time, the soil below cannot be soft. In order to make the equipment more efficient when operating and minimize the impact of the equipment in working state on the environment, a soft pad or shock-proof pad with a thickness of 5 to 10 mm can be laid on the ground in advance when installing the screw air compressor.
Cooling system. When choosing an air-cooled compressor, ventilation conditions should be considered. Avoid installing the air compressor next to high-temperature equipment. If the air compressor inhales a large amount of high-temperature gas during operation, the exhaust temperature will be too high, making the equipment unable to operate normally. If the size of the installation space is subject to certain restrictions, it is necessary to install exhaust equipment appropriately to ensure the air circulation speed.
