As we all know, air compressors are heavy-duty equipment. When designing air compressors, in order to achieve a higher energy efficiency level and control costs, air compressor manufacturers do not enlarge the power of the selected motors so as to meet the energy efficiency level while increasing the cost advantage of producing air compressors.
In the initial production stage, because the air compressor is a new machine, the motor efficiency is high, the rotor moving parts are in good condition, the vibration is small, and the friction resistance of each component is small, which is reflected in the motor output shaft power is also small, so the motor runs more easily.
After the unit has been running for many years, the motor efficiency will decrease relative to before, and the gap between mechanical parts will become larger. At the same output gas flow, the motor current increases, and the heat generated by the motor coil increases, which is very easy to cause the motor to overload and thermal overload protection, and seriously burn the motor coil.
In response to the above situation: the following suggestions are made:
1. Lower the unloading pressure of the unit;
2. If the unit has an adjustment mode, change the unit to the adjustment mode;
3. Take certain measures to increase the heat dissipation of the main motor;
