For Rotorcomp air compressors, 500 hours after the purchase of a new machine is generally considered the first running-in period of the air compressor. At that time, you must change the lubricating oil, replace the oil filter, and replace or clean the air filter element. If you perform maintenance during the subsequent operation, when your screw air compressor has been running for almost or 2000 hours, you can make an appointment with us to do a comprehensive maintenance for your screw air compressor. If you have professional personnel to manage your air compressor, you can also replace some of the maintenance accessories.
The specific replacement or cleaning is as follows:
1. Replace the lubricating oil;
2. Replace the oil filter;
3. Clean the air filter element;
4. Replace the oil separator.
I would like to remind you that the time we are talking about is most of the time. If the environment where you place the screw air compressor is poor and the dust is large, Rotorcomp recommends that you should shorten the maintenance time. Use a special wrench to reverse the rotation and remove the oil filter. It is best to add screw oil before installing the new filter. Use both hands to screw the filter seal back to the oil filter seat and tighten it firmly. Be careful not to let impurities fall into the lubricating oil. After the air filter is removed correctly, use a dust blower or other tools to blow out the dust outside, and then use a cloth or something to clean the impurities and dust on the metal layer inside the air filter, and then install it on the screw air compressor.
