Diesel air compressor fuel consumption calculation method

The diesel air compressor fuel consumption calculation method is related to two factors: fuel consumption rate and power load. Generally, customers rarely learn about fuel consumption before purchasing Kaishan diesel air compressors, and most customers do not know the size of diesel air compressor fuel consumption and how to calculate diesel air compressor fuel consumption.

Usually, the salesperson who sells air compressors tells customers that the fuel consumption is mostly 200g/kW.h, or much lower than the actual fuel consumption of the purchased generator, so that buyers are more willing to accept the cost of using the air compressor. Here, the editor introduces a more accurate fuel consumption algorithm to everyone, hoping to help everyone.

In order to facilitate everyone to understand the approximate fuel consumption of the air compressor and calculate the cost of using the air compressor, the approximate reference value (30kW-500kW) is calculated for everyone.

1. Fuel consumption rate. Different brands of diesel air compressors have different fuel consumption rates and different fuel consumption. The approximate fuel consumption is 196g/kW.h-230g/kW.h. The specific fuel consumption depends on the technical parameters of the diesel air compressor.

2. The size of the electrical load. The larger the load, the greater the fuel consumption; on the contrary, the smaller the load, the relative fuel consumption will be smaller.

3. The specific calculation formula for the fuel consumption of the diesel air compressor is as follows: One liter of diesel is approximately equal to 0.84-0.86 kilograms (1L=0.8-0.85kg). Most manufacturers of diesel air compressors use parameters in g/kW.h, which means how many grams (g) of oil a kilowatt (kW) generator consumes per hour. Then the unit is changed to liters (L) to know your fuel consumption cost per hour.

The ratio of water to diesel is about 1:0.84-0.86, which means 1L diesel ≈ 0.84-0.86 kg/kg. Calculation of diesel air compressor fuel consumption: rated power × fuel consumption per hour (g/kW.h) ÷ 0.84 (density kg/L) = fuel consumption. For example: 220kW diesel air compressor fuel consumption is 200g/kW.h, that is: 220×0.2 (kg) ÷ 0.84 = 52 (L)
