Look at the exhaust volume of the air compressor from the four aspects of "intake, speed, cooling, and leakage

The exhaust volume of the air compressor refers to the volume of air discharged per unit time and converted to the intake state. Whether it is a piston air compressor, a screw air compressor, or a centrifugal air compressor, the exhaust volume is one of the most important indicators for testing the performance of the air compressor. There are many factors that affect the exhaust volume of the air compressor. Let's look at the exhaust volume of the air compressor from the four aspects of "intake, speed, cooling, and leakage":

Factors affecting the exhaust volume of the air compressor

Intake

Since the screw air compressor is a positive displacement compressor, its intake volume is constant. When the intake temperature rises, or the intake pipe resistance is too large and the intake pressure is reduced, the density of the gas decreases, and the exhaust volume of the gas will be reduced accordingly.

Speed

The exhaust volume of the screw air compressor is proportional to the speed of the motor. The speed of the motor will change with the voltage and frequency of the power grid. When the voltage or frequency (for asynchronous motors) decreases, the speed will decrease, thereby reducing the exhaust volume.

Cooling

When the gas is compressed, the temperature will rise, and the temperature of the rotor and the casing will also rise. During the suction process, the gas will be heated by the rotor and the casing and expand, reducing the suction volume. At this time, the temperature needs to be lowered. If the cooling performance is poor, the temperature cannot be lowered and the exhaust volume will also decrease.

Leakage

The rotor and the casing, and the yin and yang rotors are not in direct contact during operation. There is a certain gap, and the gap may cause gas leakage. When the gas with increased pressure leaks through the gap to the suction pipe and the meshing groove that is being inhaled, it will lead to a reduction in exhaust volume.
