Design requirements and regulations for mine air compressor stations

Air compressors, as pneumatic tools, provide power sources for mine work. In factories and mines with large and concentrated coal production and air consumption, air compressor stations (rooms) are generally set up. Air compressor stations are the center for manufacturing and managing air sources. The following is a detailed introduction for you: What are the requirements and regulations for the design of air compressor stations in factories and mines with large and concentrated coal production and air consumption.

Design regulations for mine air compressor stations

In the process of well construction after exploration, air compressors, as pneumatic tools, provide power sources for mine work. In coal mine production, relevant air compressor stations are generally established.

1. The high and low voltage distribution devices of the air compressor station should be attached to the end of the air compressor station (room) that is not expanded.

2. The motor of the air compressor should use a squirrel cage motor. For low-speed air compressor motors, when the power grid needs to improve the power factor, a synchronous motor can be selected. When the starting conditions cannot be met, a winding motor can be used.

3. When a high-speed turbine air compressor is equipped with two AC-driven oil pumps, the oil pump power supply should be drawn from different busbar sections and equipped with an automatic oil pump start-up device for the equipment; when only one AC motor-driven oil pump is installed, an automatic power supply device for the equipment should be installed. When one DC motor-driven oil pump is required among the two oil pumps, the DC motor should be powered by a fixed battery; when the AC power supply is cut off, the DC motor-driven oil pump should automatically start working.

4. Air compressors should be equipped with various indications and accident alarm signals according to their technical requirements, and cooling water cut-off signals must be set.

5. The civil engineering design of air compressor stations should comply with the following a and b provisions:

When the vibration of the air compressor station affects the normal operation of electrical equipment, the civil engineering design should take anti-vibration measures;

When the noise of a large air compressor station exceeds the regulations, a soundproof centralized control room should be set up.

Design and construction requirements for air compressor stations in factories and mines with large and concentrated air volume

In factories and mines with large and concentrated air volume, air compressor stations (rooms) are generally set up. Air compressor stations are the center for manufacturing and managing air sources. A typical air compressor station should include a main room, an auxiliary room (used for air compressor maintenance) and an outdoor gas storage tank. The design and construction of air compressor stations should meet the following requirements:

1) The air compressor station must be close to the load center to avoid waste of transmission pipelines and consumption of air pressure.

2) The water and power supply are reasonable, and energy is easy to obtain.

3) The air compressor station should be an independent building with good ventilation and sun protection.

4) The air source of the air inlet should be clean and avoid being close to places that emit explosive, corrosive and toxic gases and dust and other harmful substances.

5) The location of the machine room should be convenient for equipment transportation and equipment maintenance, and there should be room for expansion.
