High temperature of air compressor lubricating oil can cause the following faults:

1. Iron filings inside the machine;

2. Particles in the inhaled air;

3. Pollution of the surrounding environment (chemicals, etc.).

From the above, it can be seen that the reasons why the air compressor lubricating oil turns black are as follows:

1. Additives are heated;

2. Clean out the original or working carbon deposits;

3. Too much dispersant;

4. Carbon deposits;

5. Deterioration;

6. Mixing of impurities;

7. Excessive wear of the machine and metal filings entering.

All the above reasons are the reasons why the air compressor oil turns black. In order to ensure the normal operation of the air compressor, we must be vigilant at all times when using lubricating oil and strictly follow the following:

1. Make sure that the added oil is consistent with the oil currently in use, and prevent the two oils from being mixed, which may cause the oil to coke and block the main engine;

2. Check the use of oil in the air compressor from time to time, and regularly perform maintenance and replacement work;

3. Clean the dust particles of the air filter element regularly, and perform maintenance and replacement work according to the working conditions, so that the air filter element can effectively filter out dust impurities in the air;

4. Periodically clean the air-cooled cooler to ensure the cooling effect of the cooler.
