Detailed Maintenance Guide for Screw Air Compressors

Screw air compressor maintenance is divided into four stages: daily maintenance, monthly maintenance, quarterly maintenance, and annual maintenance.

1. Daily Maintenance

Check oil level, air filter element and coolant level, hoses and all pipe joints for leaks, and wear parts for replacement. If they have reached their replacement cycle, the machine must be stopped and the parts replaced. Check the main unit exhaust temperature; if it reaches or approaches 98℃, the oil cooler must be cleaned. Check the separator differential pressure; when the differential pressure reaches 0.6 Bar or begins to decrease, the machine should be stopped and the separator element replaced.

2. Monthly Maintenance

Inspect the cooler and clean it if necessary. Check all wiring and tighten it. Check the AC contactor contacts. Clean dust from the motor suction surface and housing. Clean the return oil filter. Check that the air compressor settings are consistent with operation.

3. Quarterly Maintenance

Clean the main motor and fan motor. Replace the oil filter element. Clean the cooler. Check the low-pressure valve and safety valve. Check the sensors.

4. Annual maintenance: Replace lubricating oil and oil-gas separator filter element, replace air filter element and oil filter, calibrate safety valve, check flexible coupling, check cooling fan, clean automatic drain valve, and replenish or replace motor lubricating grease.
